Adriana Chavez

Hola! My name is Adriana Chavez and I'm a senior at Fremont High School. This is my third year on the staff and I will be your new Editor-In-Chief this year. In my free time I like to binge watch Netflix, spend time with my friend’s dogs and dance around to Selena Quintanilla. I am so excited to be the new Editor and get to share more of your stories. I can't wait for what this year brings here on the Rustler and I hope you are with us every step of the way.
Jeremy Neill

Hello folks! My name is Jeremy Neill and I’m a senior this year at FHS. This will be my third year as part of the Rustler staff. This year on the staff I will be the Assistant Editor. Last year I qualified for the state journalism championships and I hope to make it again this year. Not only do I take part in journalism, but I am also a part of the baseball team and the varsity choir at FHS. Being on the Rustler has brought me many memories and has helped me make new friends. I cannot wait to make many new memories with such great people.
Aaron Mercado

Hey! My name is Aaron Mercado. I am a 17-year-old photographer and I am starting my third year on the Rustler staff. This is my second year as Photo Editor. Last year brought me a wealth of fulfilling rewards. My photography has provided me with many adventures and I have been fortunate enough to have won several awards, including winning two first-place medals in News and Sports Photography at the NSAA Journalism Championships as a junior. I am an aspiring Nat-Geo photographer, who is very excited to capture Fremont High's greatest triumphs. I can't wait for what the future brings.
Arianna Jacobson
Hey! My name is Arianna Jacobson and I am a junior at Fremont High School. This is my first year on the Rustler staff. I am in the Thespian Honors Society at FHS. I’m also in the band and I play alto saxophone. I am involved in many clubs at the high school, some of which include photography club and key club. Outside of school I enjoy taking photos, reading, spending time with friends and family, and expanding my love for Christ. I am excited to be on the staff this year and I look forward to gaining more experience in writing, photography and becoming a better journalist overall.

Hi, how are ya? I’m Austin Knippelmeir and I’m the Sports Editor of the Rustler this year. I'm a junior at FHS and I play baseball in the fall, spring and summer. I’m a pitcher. I also enjoy playing basketball, which is why I’ll be playing intramurals this year. I love many sports teams-including the Yankees, Chiefs, Knicks, Blackhawks, Huskers and Jayhawks. I look forward to another successful year on the Rustler and hopefully another trip to state.
Alexa Mahnke

Hey! My name is Alexa Mahnke. I am a sophomore at Fremont High School and this is my first year on the Rustler staff. I am very excited to be a part of this team. My goal is to become a better photographer, writer, and, overall just improve myself as a journalist. I am on the Fremont High School dance team and I also run for the Fremont cross country and track teams. I love photography, dancing, running, singing and spending time with friends and family. I am excited to meet new people and help contribute to the Rustler.

Greetings! I am Juan Diaz and I am currently a senior at Fremont High School. I am so excited to finally be making my debut on the Rustler staff this year. I am involved around the school as President of Student Government, National Honor Society and Key Club; while leading other clubs, such as Multicultural Club and Thespian Troupe 886. Over the years, I have fallen in love with music and have since joined the band, choir, orchestra and the drama department at FHS. In my free time I enjoy hanging with my friends, singing my lungs out, watching Netflix and volunteering throughout the community. I am eager to entertain you, our audience, as you read my columns and other projects in the Rustler.

Heyo! My name is Kennedy. I’m a junior and this is my second year as a part of the Rustler staff. I run for the Fremont cross country team and I am a sprinter on the track team. I'm excited to continue to refine my skills as a journalist and help the staff produce a better publication each month. I hope to gain more experience in my writing, communication skills, and overall become a better journalist.

This is my first year on the Rustler staff and I can’t wait for the experiences and people I will be able to meet as a photographer for the school. Outside of school, I enjoy playing hockey and exploring new places with friends, and photographing our experiences along the way.

Hey! My name is Olivia Wright and I am a sophomore at FHS. This is my first year on the Rustler staff and I am excited to improve my writing, photography and graphic design abilities. I love to write and have been writing for as long as I can remember. I am also a member of the Fremont dance team, student council, and FHS Key Club. I love to sing and I am a member of the J.V. Choir. In my free time I love to binge watch Netflix, spend time with friends and family, and read and write. I look forward to working on the Rustler and meeting lots of new people.

Hi! My name is Samantha Sarabia and I am a 17-year-old junior at FHS. I moved to Fremont about five years ago. I come from a family of eight. I speak both Spanish and English. I’m planning on going into Criminal Justice in the future. This is my first time on the Rustler staff and I'm very excited to get started.
