Lurye Baxa
Hello! My name is Lurye Baxa and I am a senior at Fremont High School. This is my third year on the Rustler staff and I am extremely excited to start this year as the editor-in-chief. I am also on the Student PBIS team and am part of the National Honor Society. During my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, hanging-out with friends and spending time with my dogs. I am thrilled to continue improving my journalism and graphic design skills this year.

Aubrey Pieper
Hey! I’m Aubrey Pieper and I’m a junior at Fremont High School. This is my second year on the Rustler staff and I’m excited to be copy editor and co-assistant editor this year. I run track at FHS and I play club softball outside of school. In my free time, I enjoy binge-watching Netflix, going to the gym, and hanging out with friends. This year I’m excited to learn more about editing and improving my writing through journalism.

Hey! I’m Allison Ramirez and I'm a second-year Rustler staff member as a junior. I’m excited to serve as both the photo editor and assistant editor this year! I am also a thrower for the girl’s track and field team, and a partner in Unified Bowling. Clubs I’m involved in at FHS include: Key Club, the secretary for Photo Club, Spanish Club, Letter Club, Spanish Honor Society and National Honor Society. I do love shopping and spending time with family and friends in my free time.

Hey! My name is Courtney Roberts and I’m a junior at Fremont High School. In my free time I like to read, write and go for hikes with my friends. When I’m not keeping busy with homework, I like to swim and watch Netflix in my spare time. This is my second year on the Rustler staff and I’m super excited to get better with writing and graphic design this year.

Hi! My name is Jared Knollenberg. I am a junior at Fremont High School and this is my second year on the Rustler staff. This year I am serving as the sports editor of the Rustler and I am proud to be part of such a great team. I play basketball at FHS and in my free time I like to hang-out with my friends and family. I am excited to be on a great staff and work with new people.

Hiya! My name is Rowan VanOsdel and I’m a junior at Fremont High School. This is my second semester working on the Rustler staff and I'm so excited to continue to improve my journalism skills. Art and writing are two of my go-to hobbies, along with reading. When I’m not working on school things, or my hobbies, I love to relax at home with my family and hang-out with my friends.

Hey, my name is Makayla Belmont and I am a sophomore at Fremont High School. This will be my first semester on the Rustler staff and I am very excited to be a part of this team. I am also going to be on the yearbook staff during the second semester of this school year. I play volleyball at FHS and with the Fremont Volleyball Club. In my free time I like to spend time with friends and family. I am very excited to become a better journalist.

Sup! I’m McKenna Barker and I’m a sophomore at Fremont High School. This is my first year on the Rustler staff. I’m involved with FCCLA, and I play soccer at FHS, and for the Fremont Soccer Club. I also play for the Fremont Volleyball Club. In my free time, I like to binge-watch Netflix and go to the lake.

I also play club volleyball outside of school. In my free time I like to storm watch or look at constellations at night.
